ABOUT QIGONG - SECOND MOVEMENT
Qigong is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation. Qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance Qi (pronounced “Chi”) or what has been translated as "intrinsic life energy”.
Qigong exercises have three main components:
Posture (whether moving or stationary)
Mental focus on guiding qi through the body
The prerequisite is a calm, relaxed state of mind.
This Qigong work is characterised as “Silk reeling”, alternating fast/slow motion and bursts of power. Making circular and spiralling movements, working with yin and yang, full and empty, right and left.
This is the second part to a two-part course so make sure you complete the first part before starting the second movement. This practice is used to improve work and performance. It is also a great warm up and gently refocuses the thoughts. After Qi gong movements, we invite you to meditate in silence, guided by Yoshi’s voice and Tibetan singing bowl. Vibration from mantras creates a special frequency, which purifies the energy field that you make with Qigong exercise and cleanses negative energy.
MEET YOUR TEACHER
Yoshi was born and raised in Japan and he is a devoted follower and practitioner of Japan's varied spiritual traditions. Having completed a B.A diploma of Law at Meijigakuin University in Tokyo, Yoshi has decided to see what the world has to offer and moved to France, with Paris becoming his home for a number of years.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN
Session 1 - “ SECOND MOVEMENT OF QIGONG” - 37 MIN
Session 2 - “ MANTRA MEDITATION” - 30 MIN
Yoshi suggests that these relaxing movements are repeated for a minimum of 2-3 days (if you are feeling motivated and dedicated, a week of practice is perfect).
It is recommended that you listen to the meditation straight after finishing your movement practice.
You have 3 months to complete this course and we encourage you to start as soon as you can to get the most of it. The more familiar you become with the movements, the easier it will be to proceed to the next level.
And don't forget about breathing - it is key, keep moving and stay focused on your breath.
With guidance from Yoshi and soon your own body, you will feel the effects of Qigong in a matter of weeks!
